For people and nature - Patagonia Outdoor Clothing at skatedeluxe
Whether it’s a hobby, a profession or a passion - the main point is that in nature, you need clothes that are comfortable, that you can move in, and that can withstand all weather conditions. To ensure this, all products are tested to the extreme by the Patagonia ambassadors. Whether it's for climbing, snowboarding, surfing or skateboarding, a new product will only hit the market once the in-house adventurers are satisfied.
Patagonia relies on organic and recycled materials. Accordingly, they only use recycled polyester and cotton grown without the use of pesticides. Patagonia Clothing also offers useful repair & maintenance instructions to help you enjoy your products for a long time.
Environmental awareness and social responsibility as a mission statement
“Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis.”
Highest product quality through fair practices with the environment in mind. Patagonia works hard to minimise its environmental footprint and reduce pollutant emissions. That’s why Patagonia has been part of the 1% for the Planet initiative since 1985, which has already raised $78 million to maintain and protect our planet. There are also clear guidelines for production: fair wages, safe working conditions and absolutely no child labour!

How Chouinard Equipment Became Patagonia - A Brief Brand History
Climber, businessman and environmentalist Yvon Chouinard is the founder and owner of Patagonia. It all began with the fact that Yvon, as a passionate climber, started forging his own safety hooks. In 1965, his friend Tom Frost, an aviation engineer and fellow climber, joined the company as a business partner with the goal of making equipment more durable, lighter, more functional and easier to produce. In 1972, they began distributing textiles and thus came the rise of a new brand, which, just like the Patagonia region, is associated with mysticism, wanderlust, adventure and nature.
