The history of Globe

At the beginning of the 80s skateboarding in Australia was rather a niche existence. Accordingly, the supply and quality of domestic skategoods was sobering. In 1984, the Hill brothers founded Hardcore Enterprises, their own distribution company, to import high-quality products from the USA. Besides decks, wheels and trucks they also imported apparel & accessories from 1987 on.

After 10 years of pure distribution work, Peter and Stephen founded their own brand Globe in 1994 together with their brother and later CEO Matt Hill.
