When the German skateboarders Michael Neuss and Christian Roth aka "Cpt. Cracker" found MOB Skateboards 1999 under the name "Hessenmob" they wanted to create a skateboard company the was run by skateboarders for skateboarders. Right from the beginning, their focus was on being independent and to embody 100% skateboarding. No bullshit! No exceptions! Skateboarding vs. Skateboredom!

MOB Skateboards from Germany are producing high-quality skateboard decks, wheels and hardware flanked by a fine selection of streetwear and accessories. Especially in their hardware section in the skatedeluxe online skate shop, you'll find everything the heart of skateboarder desires, whether it's MOB decks, wheels, completes or even cruisers and longboards.
The fact that the guys from Hesse, Germany are really motivated to produce high-quality skateboards is especially proven by different special constructions. The classic "Tough Cats" construction is made with 7-ply maple laminated with extra tough epoxy resin which is also used in the speedboat and aerospace industry, giving the deck an extra portion of stiffness for more pop. Do you want even more? If so, go check the "Harter Hund" technology, which could be translated as "Hard Dog". At these decks, the maple plies are also glued with epoxy.
They vary, however, in using two 0.7 mm thick centre veneers instead of a single 1.4 mm thick layer. This creates an additional epoxy resin layer, which makes the deck harder and gives it more pop. To put it in Mob-terms: "It’s harder and poppier than a pit bull on Viagra."
Every now and then, you'll also find a MOB Skateboards deck with the so-called "King Kong" construction. This technology is quite similar to P2 or Impact decks because it also features a fibreglass layer which makes the deck almost indestructible. So to put in a nutshell, MOB Skateboards isn't only hyped on nice and authentic graphics but also on high-performance decks.

MOB Skateboards has one of the nicest teams of all German brands. Currently, former skatedeluxe Pro Danny Sommerfeld, Iwan Martallica, Kerem Elver, Laif Draasch, Alex Ullmann and skatedeluxe ambassador Alex Denkiewicz are part of the "mob".
