From Scandinavia to Barcelona – Sour Solution at skatedeluxe
With its playful graphics and casual clothing, Sour Solution is one of the most interesting European skate brands. Mastermind Gustav Tønnesen, himself a pro skater for Sour, is behind the videos of the Scandinavian brand and provides inspiration with innovative editing and 100% skateboarding.
Decks and graphics from SOUR Skateboards
That Sour Skateboards doesn't take itself too seriously, at least concerning the graphics, is obvious at first sight. Playful motifs with pop culture references meet simple lettering with high recognition value. The pro and team decks from Sour Solution are available in many different sizes and are based on classic popsicle decks for street skating. In the skatedeluxe online shop you can easily order the latest decks from SOUR online.
The streetwear from Sour Solution
In addition to decks, Sour Skateboards regularly brings out clothing collections, which scores points with their casual cuts, discreetly placed logos and pleasant colors. Whether t-shirts, hoodies, ¼ zip sweatshirts or caps - SOUR Solution offers you a wide selection of fashionable apparel.
The Skate Team from Sour
The SOUR Skateboards skate team reads like a "who's who" of the Scandinavian skateboard scene. In addition to Gustav Tønnesen, Simon Isaksson, Albert Nyberg, skatedeluxe team rider Martin Sandberg, Nisse Ingemarsson, Erik J Petersson, Josef Scott Jatta, Koffe Hallgren, Daniel Spängs, Vincent Huhta, Alex Berggren and many more are on the road for the Nordic brand. Of course, the team extends beyond the Scandinavian borders. The Sour Solution team also includes Oscar Candon, Barney Page and Tom Snape.
SOUR gained real attention with their videos Sour Solution I & II. Both videos, as well as the edits and promos published in between, make you want to skate, offer first-class street skating and definitely don't skimp on the fun.
Sweet becomes Sour - the story of Sour Solution
SOUR SOLUTION was originally created as a response to changes at Sweet Skateboards. A large part of the current SOUR team was previously riding for Sweet for years. However, after the entry of investors and personnel changes at Sweet, the team decided to start their own thing together with team manager Björn Holmenäs. So the name was created in distinction to Sweet.
With the departure of Sweet and the founding of SOUR SOLUTION Skateboards, the team also created new perspectives. Founded as a small Swedish board company, SOUR SOLUTIONS, now based in sunny Barcelona, has become one of the most interesting brands in Europe. Finally, the team riders can co-determine the direction of the company and so, for example, Gustav Tønnesen cuts and films the SOUR SOLUTION videos himself.
