Skategoat or flame logo – Thrasher apparel
Thrasher clearly stands for the rebellious side of skateboarding. The motto "Skate And Destroy" is no coincidence. Nevertheless, or just because of that, Thrasher apparel has long since arrived on the mainstream. Parts like the Thrasher Flame sweater or the classic Thrasher Skate Mag t-shirt can no longer be seen only in skate parks.
Thrasher hoodies and sweatshirts - Perfect for skating and chilling
Nevertheless, clothing bearing the iconic Thrasher Magazine Skate Mag logo is made for skateboarders. Accordingly, Thrasher sweaters with or without hood have a relaxed regular fit and offer you plenty of freedom of movement on the board. Thrasher clothing is usually unisex. Thrasher Skateboard Magazine - Cult from the beginning
Thrasher Skateboard Magazine was founded in 1981 by Kevin Thatcher, Eric Swenson and Fausto Vitello. Today, the mag from San Francisco, California is still informing its readers about everything from the world of skateboarding. The approach of the magazine is already in the name.
At Thrasher, you can expect relentless reporting. The writing style and tone of the magazine, like the now deceased editor-in-chief Jake Phelps, doesn't mince words and is still celebrated for it.
What started as a 32-page magazine has evolved over the years into one of the most popular brands in skateboarding. Besides Thrasher sweaters, t-shirts and accessories, you can of course buy the current Thrasher issue online at skatedeluxe.
Thrasher Magazine today: Skateboarding 101
In 1981, nobody would have thought that a whole culture would develop around a simple skateboard magazine. Formats like King of the Road, Hall of Meat or the legendary Skate Rock-Trips are known to all skaters.
If you release your part on thrashermagazine.com, you can be sure that the whole scene will see it. Thrasher also gives out the Skater of the Year award every year. Considering the influence of the mag, the SOTY title is equivalent to a coronation.
