Tired Skateboards is aimed at all the aging skaters who used to be good on their board but now have serious jobs and can simply no longer invest the time in skating like the young skaters. Accordingly, the brand does not take itself so seriously.
Founder Piet Janssen is no stranger to the skate scene. His collaborations with Nike SB and the designs of its sister company "by Parra" have been well received for years. With Tired Skateboards, he and Brad Staba, founder of Skate Mental, have created a common space for freedom and play. The tongue-in-cheek mentality coincides with humorous illustrations on vintage shaped decks and cruisers.

Although the brand doesn't house a real team, skaters like Pete Spooner, Marsha Howard, Thomas Merior and Micheal Condello can be found alongside skaters from all over the world. Tired's ethos is "everyone is part of the team".
