Volcom's Featured Artist program stands in tradition with the brand. The focus is on regular streetwear collections in collaboration with artists, designers and other movers and shakers. Volcom Featured Artist brings you t-shirts, hoodies, longsleeves and accessories like beanies and caps with highly creative and unusual motifs.
Arthur Longo
Simple motifs and bright colours – the "You Again" collection by Volcom and its long-time snowboard team rider Arthur Longo is bursting with bright colours and youthful inspiration. Large parts of the unisex collection are characterised by geometric motifs that make the shirts and jumpers appear dynamic and fresh. Carefree happiness, a sense of adventure and a childlike zest for life are evident in every item in the "You Again" collection that Arthur Longo has designed for Volcom.
Travis Spinks
Travis Spinks is deeply rooted in graffiti and skateboard culture and is known for his unique airbrush pieces. The design of the "Earth Tripper" collection by Spinks and Volcom is correspondingly loud and bold - the motif of the entire collection is blue lightning bolts, which adorn the trousers, jacket, shirt, shorts and fishing hat as an all-over print in airbrush style. The jacket and trousers in the "Earth Tripper" collection are also equipped with GORE-TEX Pac Lite technology. They are therefore particularly breathable and combine style and functionality – the perfect companions for stylish outdoor adventures!
Tetsunori Tawayara
Tetsunori Tawaraya's art style is fascinating and infectious – in his drawings and sculptures, the Japanese artist and musician creates imaginative creatures, which he places in front of detailed and finely drawn backgrounds. In this way, Tetsunori creates unique illustrations that leave a lasting impression. The new Tetsunori Tawaraya and Volcom collection, "Asphalt Beach", is also designed in this unmistakable style and is therefore an absolute eye-catcher, no matter the time, occasion or place!
Sam Ryser
Between cosmic and terrestrial - the collection "We Will Speak To You" by New York-based artist Sam Ryser blurs the boundaries of reality. Surreal figures meet extraterrestrial-looking shapes - all beautifully colourful and pretty wacky. When Sam Ryser's illustrations aren't used on Volcom T-shirts, hoodies and the like, he's busy with his own brand Dripperworld.
Nando Von Arb
Clean lines, comic influences and a touch of folk art - Nando Von Arb's art is diverse, a bit offbeat and full of humour. Originally from Switzerland, Von Arb is a successful illustrator and artist and has already worked for well-known newspapers and magazines. Finally, you can find his work on the apparel of Volcom's Featured Artist series!
Max Sherman
Max Sherman's drawings combine heavy metal and punk influences with a healthy dose of '80s horror vibes. Graphic designer and illustrator Sherman lives and works in Denver, Colorado. His art has been featured on Creature skateboard decks and plenty of band shirts.
Elzo Durt
Little by little, Elzo Durt has defined his own path by designing record covers and posters for numerous bands and labels. Elzo's cheerful, morbid universe can now be found on magazine covers, festival posters, record sleeves, but also in newspapers like Le Monde.
Animoscillator
Animoscillator (Dan Haywood) uses modern vintage and retro technologies to create eye-opening and possibly borderline mind-blowing video art. Constantly experimenting with anything that can be recorded and distorted, Animoscillator creates new media artworks that are dramatic, intriguing and, at the very least, eerie.
