If you’ve ever dealt with the topic of grinding, you’ve definitely come across Destructo. For 21 years now, there has been no truck brand that has constantly worked harder to make its products even better, lighter and more functional. And since with every grind comes a bit of destruction, the name couldn’t be more fitting. In the skatedeluxe Online Skate Shop, you will find a wide range of innovative trucks as well as the fitting accessories!
Destructo Trucks - Clear goals and constant innovation!
Destructo is about creating the perfect truck. But since every skateboarder has different requirements, his own style and personal preferences, Destructo offers the right solution for every terrain. Whether low, mid or high – you’ll definitely find what you need when it comes to long-lasting and high-quality trucks. This is due to the special aluminium from the weapon manufacturing, which serves as the basis for Destructo's trucks.
As a result of this and through sophisticated technology, Destructo trucks are relatively light, very stable and durable. This is due to the hollow technology and a down-set kingpin, which prevents wear when grinding.
The standard Super Formula bushings ensure a smooth and controlled riding feel. No wonder big names like Tony Cervantes, Arto Saari, Steve Forstner, Sammy Winter, Mike Vallely, Drake Wiseman and Jake Johnson all skate Destructo Trucks.
An Englishman in CA! The way from Gary Parkin to D3STRUCTO!
Although Destructo is now settled in sunny California, the origins of the brand lie in the much cooler city of Brighton, England, which is where Gary Parkin- aka D3STRUCTO- hails from. After moving to the USA, he founded the company in 1996. The name D3STRUCTO arose from the context of decay, destruction and art, which all strongly inspired Parkin. After art and design studies at Brighton College, the passionate skateboarder moved to Costa Mesa to better pursue his passions of art, engineering and skateboarding. Today Destructo is known mainly as a truck brand. In short: Metal art for demanding skateboarding!
