Plan B Skateboards: the first choice in high quality skate decks
The name Plan B unmistakably stands for skateboarding at the highest level. Even in the brand's early days in 1991, one idea was in the spotlight: to assemble the skateboard dream team par excellence. With Steve Rocco, Brian Johnson and Mike Ternasky in the background, Plan B managed to unite the best skaters of the time in one team.
Plan B Skateboard Decks: Boards with medal potential
It is quite noticeable that many skaters on the Plan B team often come home from big contests with an award - whether X-Games, Street League or the World Championship. For such stellar performances, you have to be able to rely on your setup 100%.
Accordingly, skateboard decks from Plan B are manufactured with the highest quality standards. Whether classics such as Team OG graphics, Team Original Logo or Pro Design: the Plan B decks, which you can shop online at skatedeluxe, withstand every session and guarantee you both pop, as well as durability.
For a bit more performance you can also find Plan B skateboard decks with special constructions, like the Pro Spec decks or BLK ICE Slick boards for longer slides. You can find more info about this in our Skateboard Deck Wiki.
For beginners there is a wide selection of Plan B complete skateboards. Here you get the same quality of Plan B decks, ready assembled with other high-quality components.
Ups and downs: the history of Plan B skateboards
Plan B can look back on an eventful history. The early years were marked by one of the best skateboard teams and video classics. For example, skateboarders like Mike Carroll, Rodney Mullen, Pat Duffy and of course Danny Way and Colin McKay have contributed to this.
After the rapid start of the brand, the shock soon came in the form of Mike Ternasky's death as a result of a car accident. Although Plan B continued to exist in the first few years aterwards, the company was unable to match the times under Ternasky. So, in 1998, the owners decided to put an end to brand for the time being.
Plan B Skateboards 2.0 - New start under Danny Way and Colin McKay
In the mid-2000s, the first rumors about a possible relaunch of Plan B under the leadership of Danny Way and Colin McKay were being heard. In 2005 the confirmation followed and Plan B skateboard decks were available in skate shops again. With PJ Ladd and Paul Rodriguez, aka P-Rod, as cornerstones in the new team, the way was paved for a successful new start.

The current Plan B Skateboards team includes Chris Joslin, Aurelien Giraud, Felipe Gustavo, Tommy Fynn, Trevor McClung, Pat Duffy and Sean Sheffey.
Plan B produced some of the most influential skate videos ever. These include milestones like Questionable (1992), Virtual Reality and Second Hand Smoke (both 1993). With the release of the last Plan B full-length "True" (2014), the brand managed to open mouths once again.
