Unity Skateboards sees itself as a queer skateboard community with different skill levels. Making inclusivity a topic and promoting it within the skateboard scene is especially important. Unity is queer specific, but addresses all marginalized groups. The goal is to support each other and provide a safe and comfortable space - for queer skaters as well as allies.

The founders of Unity Skateboards are Jeffrey Cheung and Gabriel Ramirez. What started as a small crew, with Cheung handing out hand-painted pro boards to his fellow skaters, developed into a very important and indispensable part of the skateboarding world, also due to networking in social media and queer skate meetups.

Meanwhile, Unity Skateboards is distributed by DLXSF (i.e. also Anti Hero Skateboards). The graphics of Unity's decks are playful, oriented towards queer and homosexual themes in terms of content and do not mince words.
