If you look at Skate Mental’s self-description, you’ll quickly see that you are dealing with some down-to-earth people: "A Skater-owned company that's better than the other ones!" In a few modest words, they’ve summed up their current business situation: "We're a super huge company and make so much god damn money it's ridiculous." Anyone who recognizes the name Brad Staba knows what a joker the guy is.
Since 2007 he’s been working together with a small team full of humour, which is more about skateboarding than its conventions. You can see that in marketing as well as in the graphics, where everything you could imagine in your wildest dreams from toilet paper and Dutch frikandel to Hansi Hinterseer is packed onto the boards.
