Carhartt WIP Shorts

The most common alternative to pants in the summer is still classic shorts. Whether Bermuda, chino, cargo or jeans shorts, short sweatpants or skater shorts with elastic waistbands, they are all perfect companions on your skateboard.

When it's really warm outside and pants are no longer an option, then shorts simply fit in every situation: at the street spot, on the beach and of course on vacation. Simply everywhere you want to make a good impression.

Jorts—short jeans—are especially popular for skating because they're very durable, have a loose fit that offers plenty of legroom, and look stylish.

Skater shorts - shorts for skating

With skate shorts, it is especially important that they give you enough freedom of movement and withstand a lot. Most skate shorts are equipped with flexible materials so that you can perform your tricks properly despite high temperatures. In terms of cut, skate shorts are rather wide and made of solid fabrics that guarantee durability.

In addition to the popular work pants, jogging shorts have also spread to skate parks or street spots. Whether you prefer knee-length or something shorter, make sure that they do not restrict your performance and give you enough room to move.

Shorts for all - and in different variations

In the skatedeluxe skateshop you can find different shorts from the most popular pants brands like Dickies or Carhartt WIP. Thanks to a wide range of colors and patterns, there is something for everyone. The cut patterns also vary for shorts: full or just a little short, ending above and below the knee, wide cut, slim fit or casual. Shorts are often combined with classic features such as side and back pockets, zipper or button closure, as well as belt loops or elastic drawstrings with waistbands.

Shorts can be worn by everyone, but there are also extra skate shorts and shorts for female skaters. These are more often a little shorter or have a higher-cut waist.

Buy shorts for skating online: a few recommendations

For taller people, slim fit and skinny shorts often look unflattering. On the other hand, chino and baggy styles sometimes look a bit weird on shorter people. Basically, however, you decide what you feel most comfortable in.

If the pants slip despite your usual size, a belt will help you in a classic way. If you prefer something looser, we recommend shorts with an elastic waistband and drawstring. This gives you optimal freedom of movement during the session and your shorts always sit perfectly.
