I've been doing a lot of reverts/powerslides with these over the last few months, on relatively rough ground (asphalt), and there's no sign of flat spots yet at all! The only disadvantage I've had is that they are bigger than I'm used to (56mm), so I started getting wheelbite, which I'll just have to compensate with higher trucks. Also, they don't make the traditional sound when you slide (skkkrrttt), which I don't mind at all. But if that is your thing, then you might find it off putting.
