i bought them because they reminded me a bit of the dunks style, they're very comfortable but the sole in contact with the ground/griptape wears out very quickly I had a hole on the point at the base of the big toe. that's the shoe's only flaw in terms of resistance everything else was fine, with a big plus for comfort.
