I ride 57mm wheels, so I definitely needed to create some space in-between the wheels and the board. They also dampen the shocks a tiny bit, which is a bonus for me, because I haven't ridden in a while.

Skateboard riser pads reduce wheelbite, absorb vibrations, and protect your deck by adding space between trucks and the board. Ideal for larger wheels or rough terrain, they enhance comfort and prevent damage. However, they slightly raise your board, which can affect stability and make flip tricks more difficult.
