I can't lie they hurt your feet when you first break them in. I think it's the rubber under the suede toe cap. They also don't have as good a grip as other vulcs, but once you break them in they are an amazing skate shoe. It feels like it has the firmness of a cupsole with the board feel of a vulc. They seem super durable too due to that rubber under the suede. I will likely get another pair!
