I chose the item to have a winter jacket that was suitable for rainy and windy days. So far it is the down jacket with best water repellent treatment, even more than The North Face Lhotse which I own. Compared to the latter it is slightly less warm as it has 600 fill power. It possesses wind protection for zippers and a removable hood. It seems very durable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, rainy-weather jacket.
