I have skated 2 of these decks(until totally razor tailed), so feel I'm in a good spot to talk about it. It is a very cool board and it has a lot more concave and pop than a normal Powell Peralta deck. The kicks are steeper and longer. I am someone who likes to flip their board and I also have massive feet(UK 12) so this seemed perfect to me, because it is a wider board where it matters that behaves like a smaller board sort of... It is a very stable board straight kickflips and heelflips feel great on it, as do pop shuv its. The catch especially feels easier. After getting a popsicle again I realised how much easier it is to do treflips, frontside and backside flips on a regular board compared to this. I am now skating a wider popsicle and I'm glad I tried this, but it isn't exactly the innovation that is described. Still a great board, but I think there is a reason the popsicle has not changed much in 30 years.
Been through 4 of these since launch and, after 20+ years of skating and maintaining the trick bag, I have finally added a few flip tricks that have always been beyond me. Pressure flips just work with this deck - even on transition! I can never get reliable pressure flips on my other boards, but this shape (cut outs on the tail and nose) gives a predictable feel to one of the hardest flip tricks to be consistent with. Varial heels / big heels also feel really good, possibly the narrow mid deck. Concave not as harsh as older Powell boards. Incredible for mini ramp tech too.
i bought this board because I wanted a change from the classic Shape popsicle and I'm not disappointed. I've been skating this board for 1 and a half years and I don't think I'll ever change it again
Unfortunately, we can't accept orders from Vereinigte Staaten. We only ship within Europe and to Japan.
