My griptape was very dusty and i needed around 20/30 minutes of rubbing. It needs to be applied with a lot of tension or strength, and the addition of some water droplets really enhanced the result. Very useful for any skateboarder that skates in dirt spots commonly and wants the grip constantly on top.

It takes quite a bit of effort to get the dirt out of the grip tape and honestly it's not really worth the trouble imo. But yeah, if you really want to get the dust out of your grip tape this will do the job but your hands will get tired.

I tend to accumulate a lot of dust in my grip thanks to the area I live on, which is extremely annoying because it deteriorates the grip quicker than normal so this is the perfect tool to help with that!
