It can be used to cover a good joint in a curb that is damaged or needs to be repaired, or it can be used to cover a broken pipe.
Ripcare is a game changer! Whether cracks or holes in the approach or on the curb - the repair holds bombproof, even after heavy sessions. After just a short time, everything is ready and you won't notice any difference when grinding. For me, a must-have in my skate bag. Fast, durable and ultra-reliable!
Unfortunately, I only found out after buying it that similar epoxy-based putty is available at a cheaper price from the DIY store. That wouldn't be so bad in itself if the product at least delivered the same result. Having used both to repair various curbs, I have to say: While the conventional modeling clay was super easy to tear off and knead, Ripcare was rock hard and super difficult to blend right after opening it for the first time. Not only that, but the Ripcare stuff was still not completely solid even after more than 24 hours of drying out, whereas the cheaper alternative was theoretically skateable after half an hour. Clearly not recommended.
