Royal was my childhood brand, literally the first skateboard I got had standard royal 7.5 and these brought me back to those days. Between the maglights in terms of weight (they're too light) and hollow Indies, these ones have the perfect weight for me

I switched back to Royals after years of riding Venture and Indy and have to say they are the best trucks I've ridden so far. The geometry of the trucks is somewhere between Indy and Thunder, which makes them very versatile (fast turns and good pop). Due to the lightweight aluminum construction, the trucks are also significantly lighter than Indy Hollows, for example, and they have a large kingpin clearance, which means that the chance of getting stuck on the kingpin during grinds is almost zero. The stock bushings are also impressive: quick to run in, very good steering behavior and no squeaking. I can recommend them to anyone, especially at this price!
