do softer wheels have less sound?

Softer wheels are not so noisy an rougher ground.

Good standard wheel for cheap price, they roll pretty good even on bit more rough surfaces although they dont slide that good.
This wheelset is for smooth riding on a rough surface. Not recommended if you trying bluntslides or grinds when the weels contacting the curb or rail.
Skateboard wheels affect speed, grip, and terrain performance. Softer wheels (78A–87A) offer smooth rides and grip—great for cruising. Harder wheels (99A–101A) are ideal for tricks and smooth surfaces. Sizes range from 50mm (technical street) to 60mm+ (vert or cruising). Choosing the right wheels improves control, comfort, and style.
