I expected them to be a bit fatter. They are stretchy and, when stretched, they get thinner, so not the fattest in my experience, but definitely good upgrade over standard laces. But I'm not using them for skating, so can't comment on if these are longer lasting than standard laces.

I think they're great, they're really not expensive for 4€ and they can really take a lot. I put super glue on them because my shoelaces always break very quickly as I skate every day but the packaging is really cool and they are really thick which I like
