It is a good belt however I'd be mindful of taking it off, the metal buckle has some sharp teeth that sit into the fabric when the latch is closed and the fabric can get caught on the teeth so be careful not to completely destroy the fabric belt when undoing it, or you could try dull down the buckle teeth
