After the first wash (30 °C), the black leather patch unfortunately caused severe discoloration on my light-colored pants. To remove the stains, I then soaked the pants in denture cleaner. I had removed the leather patch beforehand. This probably also voided any warranty claim—but I at least wanted to try to save the pants. Unfortunately, that didn’t help either, and the pants are now ruined. But I’m not giving up yet and will keep trying to save them. Maybe the discoloration can still be removed. So here’s my tip for anyone buying these pants in the “Marshmallow” color: As a precaution, I’d recommend removing the black leather patch before washing them for the first time to avoid this kind of discoloration.
