Fit is maybe 10% bigger than expected, but I purchased it to go mainly underneath short sleeve t-shirts, it does pop out on the bottom (and sleeves of course) when layered with a tshirt of the same size, but it's great to create contrast which is always a positive when you are as obsessed on building outfits as I am
