Very grippy outsole. Worth noting that they have a snug fit. I usually wear Vans in size 8.5, sometimes 9, but I went with a 9.5 for this pair. They ended up being a bit long, but fit great in width and work well with thicker socks. As for downsides, the outsole wears down fairly quickly. Overall, I’d recommend them — a really interesting pair and I enjoy wearing them in different conditions. Perfect for fall, spring, and winter, especially if you’re driving.
