Extremely comfortable shoe from the very first second. The color is simple and stylish, looks a bit like the 1980s - I love this color and Vans brings it out far too rarely (my Old Skool in this color is now easily 5 years old). The leather makes a much better first impression than Nike SB Premium models, for example. Compared to the Old Skool or Chukka, there are no annoying seams on the inside. This means that this Half Cab is one of the few Vans that I don't have to break in first before I can use them in everyday life on the BMX and on foot without any pressure points. I know the Wafflecup sole primarily from the Vans BMX shoes, I generally prefer them now - even on the skateboard. The Wafflecup models seem to have a slightly more pointed cut, which is a bit unusual at first compared to the classic Vulc models.
