Skated a few pairs of half cabs in my lifetime but these are the first wafflecups I've tried. Not entirely convinced if I like these over regular halfcabs, but it's still a good shoe and after a sk8 or 2 you get to a point where you have really good grip and board -feel. Of course, the popcush delivers and gives that comfy absorption which is great for the sk8 sessions. The only draw back I might have about these kicks is that I found they wear down pretty fast. Going a half size down as opposed to what I wear with other brand shoes gives me that snug fit on foot which I like for control and feel.
