I doubted hi tops like cons or nikes... but vans really did good with these now hi tops. The insoles are far better than any other brand also!

Maybe go a half size up. These cause blisters on the knuckle of my big toe and small toe. They look cool but are very uncomfortable. I recommend to get something else.

I loved them. I walked with them for a year, then I skated them for 6 months, skating about 18 hours a week, and outlasted two boards. I eventually had to replace them because the insole wore out and the impact protection wasn't very good anymore, but I think I could skate in them for at least 10 more hours because the suede was still in good condition with a small hole. So yes, I will definitely buy them again. In fact, I already have another pair waiting to be skated.
