They press on the heel quite a bit, so it takes some getting used to. After a while it feels normal, and they actually hold the heel in place quite well. The material really does absorb vibration and impact — you can feel it. What’s missing is proper arch support under the foot. Overall, it’s worth trying to see whether it works for you or not. Just don’t expect any magical results.
