I was a bit skeptical, but they are really good, they are as light as the Thunder hollow light 2 and for a much more reasonable price. I'll have to see with time how durable they are, but from what I do with them they seem to be very good, I mostly skate transitions and a little bit of flat, no big gaps or steps, as far as wear on the grinds is concerned it seems to be a normal wear. Perfect size for an 8.5
