personally are those route ones that are soft enough to go anywhere but also hard to do tricks. though if you can i would say to use chunky shoes because in some footmarks (especcially the old ones) you can feel the ground, it doesn't bother too much but at long distances it can hurt (3+km) (i put on converse weapon high(underated) and vans hi8 with two soles inside).
