Nachdem das Slap Forum sich mehr oder weniger einig war, dass Royal hier ganze Arbeit geleistet konnte ich es auch nicht lassen mir die Teile zu bestellen. Nach einer Session muss ich sagen, dass es sich um eine solide Achse mit wunderbarem Lenkverhalten handelt. Ich selbst bin sonst Thunder Hollow Lights gefahren und hatte mit den Royals keine Probleme. Außer wheelbites, welche ich von Thunders aber auch gewohnt bin. Auch wenn ich den Gewichtunterschied gemerkt habe, so hatte dieser keinen besonderen Einfluss auf meine Tricks. Ich habe eher das Gefühl, dass meine Kickflips sich sogar besser anfühlen als mit leichteren Trucks. Mit 360g treffen die Royals meiner Meinung nach genau den Sweetspot. Ein weiterer Vorteil gegenüber Thunders ist die längere Baseplate, welche Nose und Tailslides zum Vergnügen machen. Kingpin clearance ist natürlich auch top. Hier könnt ihr dippen bis der Arzt kommt. Ich hoffe, dass die Achse noch ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit bekommt.
