This is the classic half cab design with some gore tex material on the sides. theoretically its waterproof I guess. The fit on the foot is a bit smaller than the usual half cab shoes. At least seems to break in a little slower. After not even skating it and approx. 2 weeks of walking but not continuously wearing it, the back of the sole has detached and now I can take the rubber sole out basically from the bottom... weak...

I am really disappointed because I have around 8 pairs of Half Cabs, and all are the same size. I ordered this one and had a struggle for the first 2 months with how stiff and uncomfortable they were until they loosened up. After 6 months, they already leak water, which they should not do because they are Gore-Tex. :/

Really glad I got a pair of these. Was always a fan on the Half Cab, heck we share the same birthyear. Was looking for a new pair of goretex shoes and these were a great match for me.
