They add close to 1.6mm to the height of your trucks and that takes a pair of Aces up to just under 55mm in height. Skatedeluxe might have Aces trucks down as 52mm in height but according to Ace themselves their trucks are 2.1" which is 53.34mm tall so close to 53.5mm. These shock pads clock in at 7-8g in weight each. Perfect if you want just a tad more wheel bite protection as well as whatever shock absorption that they might give you. They fit Independent trucks too as well as they fit Aces but for Ventures and Thunders they are going to be sticking out on one side and leaving a gap on the other. It might not be more than a couple of millimetres but it looks terrible. Best buy shock pads with open holes where you can slide them in to the place you need them to be if you've got those trucks.

This is a great choise for those who to absorb the vibrations. You do not feel the change of the height, andof course you do not have to change bolts if you have 1".
