I chose these sneakers because I've owned similar models from Vans before and had positive experiences. However, this specific pair didn't meet my expectations. While they initially felt comfortable, they started to rub my pinky toes over time. It's possible that I just needed to get used to them, but I didn't encounter this issue with other Vans models. Another drawback was their performance in light rain. The laces instantly stained when exposed to a small amount of water. If I had been in them for a longer period or in heavier rain, it's likely that even my socks would have gotten stained. This was disappointing compared to other shoes I've worn in similar conditions. On the positive side, the sneakers do have some standard features like durability and a good fit. However, in warm weather, they tend to get uncomfortably hot. Considering my experience, I would hesitate to recommend these sneakers. There are other models from Vans, such as the ones I previously owned, that didn't have the rubbing or staining issues. If you're looking for a comfortable and weather-resistant option, I suggest exploring other options within the Vans range.

Unfortunately I spilled some coffee on these shoes on the first day that I wore them. They are not that white anymore, but I still wear them a lot. Perhaps not that suitable for skateboarding. A shoe with comfy crush or a pro model might be comfier to absorb shocks. I used to wear these during my bar shifts and I still use them for hikes. They enclose my feet perfectly. I am definitely going to buy another pair when these are worn out.
