A Frontside Bluntslide is kind of a Tailslide with the difference that your wheels are on top of the ledge while you are sliding. This is probably one of the heaviest slides and therefore known as the king of all slides.
The way to a good and safe FS Bluntslide can be very rocky and painful. But once you have overcome your fear and the slams, you have one of the most beautiful and elegant skateboard tricks in your repertoire. Since the slide position of the FS Bluntslide is a bit unusual, it can help to practice Ollies into the Blunt Stall first.

1. Approach the ledge almost parallel and put your feet in the Ollie position and ollie up towards the ledge.
Jump high enough, so that your back truck goes over the ledge.
2. Then turn your hips in a backside 90 degree motion and land with your tail and back wheels on top of the edge of the ledge.
Turn only your hips into the slide movement and keep your shoulders straight towards the direction you are sliding.
3. Keep your weight on the tail and lean a bit away from the ledge so that you lock your back foot and the board onto the ledge well.
Try to keep your board as vertical as possible. Keeping your weight on the tail and the board vertical will help you not slip out of the blunt position.
