Rock ‘n’ Roll means, instead of going out Fakie like in a Rock to Fakie, you turn the board 180 degrees when you come back into the quarter pipe.
At the beginning, this is the better choice to learn first because it’s way easier to go back regular into the transition than Fakie.

1. Approach the quarter pipe with enough speed that your front truck comes over the coping but your back truck does not.
2. While the front truck goes over the quarter, you push out your front foot to put the weight down on the front of your board.
3. As you keep your balance, turn your shoulders either Frontside or Backside similar to the direction you will turn your board when going back into the quarter.
4. In that moment, you ease the weight of off your front leg and let your front truck out off the Rock position by pressing the back truck on the quarter pipe, turning with the shoulder and hips.
