Trick Tip
FS Crooked

The Frontside Crooked Grind is one of the more difficult grind tricks. Like the Backside Crooked Grind you grind on the front truck with the board krooked off to the side of the ledge.

Although, the movement is quite similar to a BS Crooked the frontside version is slightly harder but very aesthetic. It’s helpful to have FS Noseslides and of course BS 180 Ollies on lock as a base.

1. Approach the ledge almost parallel while you put your feet in an Ollie position. Put your front foot slightly more towards the bolts of your front truck and ollie up towards the ledge.

2. Aim with your front truck onto the ledge and lock in sideways.

3. Then put all your weight onto your front truck to stand properly in the grind.

Most important is to lock in with the right side of the truck with the wheel on top of the ledge.

4. At the end of the ledge you come out of the grind by pushing the board out with the front truck that is on top of the ledge.

5. In the beginning, coming out of the grind is the most difficult part. So, you can also try to come out with a 180 turn and ride away Fakie.
