1. The foot position is a mixture between a BS 180 Ollie and a Kickflip.

Your back foot should be placed a bit more on the inside of the tail while your front foot should be placed slightly behind the bolts of your front truck and slanted in the kickflip position.

2. Just like the backside 180 Ollie, it’s important to use your shoulders.

Before you pop your tail, build up momentum with your shoulders and bend down preparing yourself for the backside 180 motion.

3. It’s important to pop the tail with your back foot down and behind you to help achieve the backside 180 turn.

The rotation or flip of the board is made with the kickflip motion of your front foot and toes.

4. Bend down for the momentum, pop, jump and do the backside 180 motion and at the same time the kickflip motion with your front foot.

Make sure to pull your legs up to let the board flip all the way as you turn.

5. Catch your board over the bolts, land and ride away clean. In the beginning it can help to land with your weight on your front truck and bring the rest of the board around across the ground.
