1. The foot position is a mixture of the BS 180 Ollie and Heelflip. Your back foot should be placed on the outer back part of the tail.

Your front foot should be put near the bolts of your front truck or slightly behind them with your toes hanging off the edge of the board.

2. Similar to the 180 Ollie, it’s important to use your shoulders.

Before you pop your board, build up momentum for the 180 degree turn with your shoulders by bending them down.

3. It’s important to pop the tail with your back foot down and a bit back to help with the 180 turn.

The rotation or flip of the board is made with the Heelflip technique where you kick your front foot out in front of you and flip the board with your heel.

4. Do the BS 180 motion and at the same time kick out with the heelflip motion. Lift your legs up to let the board flip as you and the board turn.

5. Now catch the board over the bolts of your trucks, land and ride away clean.

It can be helpful in the beginning to land with your weight on your front truck first and slide the rest of the board across the ground.
