A funbox is a combination of ramps, a bank, and usually a rail or ledge.

Funboxes are very versatile and can be used creatively for flat tricks and transition tricks.

The term pyramid can also be used for this obstacle, but it more often refers to a much steeper cone that has a transition all around it. Both obstacles are rarely found in street skating, but you’ll find them in most skate parks.

Best practice trick:

It is best to first practice an Ollie over the pyramid to get a feel for the obstacle. Once you’re comfortable with that, try a Kickflip. The video shows you how to learn the Kickflip:
